MANAGE THE BAGGAGE

Fold it up neatly and pile it upon layers

of flattened depressed sensitive sentiments.

Fill each dark corner precisely,

occupy that space with rolled up tight compressed resentment.

Squeeze it all in

Press it down

Push <> push <> push !

Zip it tightly around

Lift and lay a selection of masks and costumes maintaining smiles of apathy.

Slide in small cosmetics and the book you’ll partly read, before you discard it fecklessly,

Cover the contents and sit frantically >pushing …

Squeeze it all in

Press it down

Push <> push <> push !

Zip it tightly around

‘It’s too heavy?’

You ask yourself into the empty room.

With no one to answer the question looms.

Conceal and carry the entirety of life and silent cries.

Burdening weight of heart and states of

matter, constantly I try, to

Manage the baggage…
