Chemical Romance

Another bump off a key from a bag clouded in the dust of optimism
Fueling my eroticism and appetite
For more and the need to score
Dancing to disco rhythms cruising eyes sympathise with the longing loneliness that resides inside
As I sniff the residue back,
I taste the emotional tide and shuffle to hide and wipe the circles off my lustful nostril
I want someone to hold me tonight.
A wave approaches and sweeps me up
high
I close me eyes
Where is my prince?
I open them to a friend
Who caresses my hand
with a plastic touch
Our eyes communicate the transaction as I hold it protectively
My emotional attachment to him is one of resentment.
The longing
The greed
The need
My chemical romance
I hate that I love you
